Performance Fuel Breakdown

Optimum Nutrition 100% Casein is one of those proteins you take when you want something that lasts. Instead of hitting your system all at once, it slowly feeds your muscles over time.

You’ll find it at Nutrizone Canada, and it’s made with micellar casein, which is known for its smooth texture and steady digestion. Simple, clean, and it does exactly what you expect it to do.

Sustained Recovery & Muscle Support System

Casein digests a lot slower than your typical whey protein. So instead of a quick spike, you get a steady release of amino acids for a few hours.

That’s why most people use it before bed, or anytime they know they won’t be eating for a while. It helps keep recovery going in the background and supports muscle maintenance while you rest.

Performance Q&A

Q: What is casein protein?
A: It’s a milk-based protein that digests slowly, so your muscles get fed over time instead of all at once.

Q: When should I take it?
A: Before bed is the go-to, but it also works well between meals if you need something more filling.

Q: How is it different from whey?
A: Whey is fast and great right after training. Casein is slower, so it’s better when you want longer-lasting support.

Q: Does it mix well?
A: Yeah, no issues there. It mixes smooth and actually works great if you want to make thicker shakes or even a protein pudding.
